Once again, Ravin proves itself as a leader in the archery industry with the release of the R500E
. This advanced crossbow is equipped with Ravins Electric Drive System which can cock and un-cock mechanism with the press of a button. This automatic cocking device attaches directly to the stock and consists of a motor and 12-volt rechargeable battery. Alternatively, the R500E can be manually cocked with the included R500 draw handle. The R500E also comes with Ravins proprietary HexCoil Cam System, which can launch a 400 grain arrow at 500 feet per second with an axle-to-axle width of 3.6 inches when cocked and 7.6 inches un-cocked. This crossbow also features the VersaDrive Cocking system, which is composed of a dual-screw drive that moves the Trac Trigger Firing System back and forth. The VersaDrives integrated clutch removes any chance of over-cocking and enables the cocking/de-cocking process to be stopped at any time.
