This is a vintage Lakeside Crossbows and Catapults expansion pack . It can be played by itself, but is really designed to be combined with the standard base game. 

This is a harder to find set and is complete. See the parts list below:

• 1 Trojan horse 
• 1 Battle shield 
• 16 warriors, (8 of each color) 
• 8 discs (4 of each color )  
• 1 set of photocopied rules/instructions

All the pieces are included. All game parts have been tested and are in working condition. Set will come with rubber bands attached.

The Trojan horse features a tail catapult, and a storage compartment in the torso of the horse which holds "warriors". When the horse is hit at the front, the sides pop open, ejecting its occupants to the ground. The doors will open but sometimes stick. Common for the horse to not function 100% consistently.

The Battle Shield is a wheel mounted platform that has a crossbow in its undercarriage. Striking the shield (with a catapult) causes the battle shield to destruct by flinging it's shield down and pulling the frame back, ejecting any riders that may be on the shield platform. The battle sheild has some stress marks and has signs of being repaired. It does function properly. Some of the stickers are missing and discolored.

Packaging

The original box is in poor condition - with dents, bends, rips, creases, etc. The cardboard box is 40+ years old.
